Hopetown Firetruck Restoration Project
The Community of Hopetown is conducting a fundraiser to restore the Island’s 1965 Landrover Firetruck the “Spitfire”. The Goal for restoration is $10,000. Once the historic firetruck has been restored the plans are to put it on display either at the Museum in Hopetown or near the Firehouse. There will be several Fundraisers throughout the year and we will try to keep you updated.
